Calibrating Laboratory Termoprodukt was extracted from PPHU Termoprodukt Company in 2010. Over 20-year experience brought us to manage a solid system to provide services in accordance with technical procedures and demands of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Devices we calibrate:

  • digital thermometers and temperature dataloggers,
  • hygrometers and humidity and temperature dataloggers,
  • pyrometers.

Our periodic-inspected laboratory apparatus posing accessory of our Laboratory allows us to control devices accurately in the following ranges:

  • thermometers and temperature dataloggers: -30…+300°C,
  • hygrometers and humidity and temperature dataloggers (for temperatures in range +15…+30°C): 20…80% RH,
  • pyrometers: +25…+350°C.

Moreover, our Company offers calibrations in accredited laboratories and Main Office of Measures which can calibrate in wider calibrating ranges.


Laboratory offers:

  • calibration and adjustment of devices produced by Termoprodukt,
  • calibration of devices produced by other companies.

Our devices are calibrated using control thermometer DTI 1000 no. 008954-01159 by Amtek Jofra Instrument and hygrometer RHT-15 no. 011013.


Examples of calibration certificate


Calibration is a comparison of indications of a measuring instrument (thermometer, hygrometer, pyrometer) to indications of models having current certificates approved by accredited laboratories that are being in accordance to a state model, and then, on base of this comparison, making corrections, considering uncertainty of measurement.

The calibration is executed to check indications of the measuring device and its fitness for purpose of measuring and to testify that calibrated device meets requirements.

The calibration process is ended Calibration Certificated made in accordance to a particular model. The manner of calibrating is contained in procedures of quality system of the Laboratory.

Our Laboratory, on Client request, before calibration of our devices, if necessary, can adjust measuring devices. This act minimalizes the number of errors of indications of measuring devices, correcting its accuracy.

Adjustment is made in accordance to a procedure of the producer, based on structure and properties of device.

Calibration is required as proof of the correctness of the values indicated by the measuring instruments. This confirmation is particularly important wherever it comes to the health and lives of people.

Devices should be calibrated to control the conditions of manufacture and storage of medicines, food, hygiene products and food products - used in order to:

  • control and monitor the conditions in refrigerators, incubators, freezers, climatic chambers, dryers, sterilizers, ovens, autoclaves,
  • monitor the temperature and humidity in cold stores, freezers, warehouses storing food, vaccines and medicines,
  • control processes in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Calibration of measuring devices is demanded by such systems, as:

  • GMP Good Manufacturing Practices,
  • GHP Good Hygienic Practices,
  • HACCP Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points.

Calibration process shows the relationship between a pattern of measured quantity (temperature, humidity, etc.) and measuring device. To maximize accuracy of the device, it is important to check and calibrate it at points (temperature, humidity, etc.) it works.

The calibration is being made at points ordered by the Client. Those points should be likely to working conditions of the device. If the device works in a wide measuring range, the whole range should be calibrated. In case it works in a particular temperature or humidity, it is enough to calibrate at one point. Calibration points should be suited to the measuring range of the device.

Calibration frequency is chosen by the User according to Producer’s recommendations and to the law.

Typically each device should be calibrated at least once a year.

Measuring devices intensively used and working in the wide range should be calibrated more often than devices which are used rarely and in rather constant temperature, humidity, etc.

In case indications of the measuring device raise doubts, the calibration should be done immediately.

What influences between-calibration period:

  • producer’s recommendations,
  • intensity of the use and working range,
  • required uncertainty,
  • adjustment or a change in the device,
  • influence of indication,
  • the law.
